A delicious and versatile spice mix that combines the flavors of nuts, seeds, and spices. Perfect for serving with bread, vegetables, or meat. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: About 1 dl
Ingredients:
- 100 g roasted hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions:
1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
2. Add the roasted hazelnuts to the skillet and continue to toast for another minute until the nuts are slightly warm.
3. Transfer the nuts and sesame seeds to a food processor.
4. Add the cumin, coriander seeds, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the mixture.
5. Blend the ingredients until well combined, but leave some texture for a crunchy feel from the nuts and seeds.
6. Transfer the dukkah to a jar and store in a cool, dry place.
