Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 1 tablespoon tahini or nut butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas, rolled oats, chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated carrot.
2. Add the tahini, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.
3. Shape the mixture into about 8-10 patties.
4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Serve warm with a side salad or bread.
