A delicious blend of croissant and pretzel dough, perfect as a savory snack. Preparation Time: 1 hour (including dough rising)
Serving Size: 8-10 pieces
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour- 10 g salt
- 10 g sugar
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 300 ml warm water
- 100 g melted butter
- 50 g sesame seeds
- Extra salt for topping
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and add sugar. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dough.
3. Knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.
4. Roll out the risen dough into a thin sheet. Moisten the surface with water.
5. Sprinkle sesame seeds and salt over the dough. Cut the dough into strips and shape them into pretzel forms.
6. Place the cretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 15-20 minutes.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
