Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 100 ml fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley), chopped
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain the pasta and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
3. Pour the cream into the pan and stir well. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Finish with the chopped fresh herbs and serve immediately.
