Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
7. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix until well coated in the sauce.
8. Add the sliced chicken on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
