Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or fusilli) - 200 g fresh broccoli
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Add the broccoli to the pasta for the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain the pasta and broccoli.2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until golden brown.
3. Pour in the cream and add the Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir well and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
