Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.
4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
6. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more cooking spray or butter as needed.
7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fruits, or whipped cream.
