Ingredients:

- 400 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh basil, torn
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook until they begin to soften, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Toss the cooked pasta, basil, and Parmesan cheese into the pan. Add reserved cooking water as needed to keep the mixture moist. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
