Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
