Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
7. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
