Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
