Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
