Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
8. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
