Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
