Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- Chocolate leaves for decoration
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the batter, mixing until well combined.
5. Pour the batter into a greased 20 cm cake pan.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Allow to cool before serving.
7. Decorate the cake with chocolate leaves before serving.
