Serving Size: 10 slices
Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ cups lukewarm water
- 30 g fresh yeast
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 small carrots, grated
- Sea salt to taste
- 8 cups all-purpose flour (approximately)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine lukewarm water, yeast, cooking oil, and honey. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes until the yeast activates.
2. Add the grated carrots and sea salt to the mixture.
3. Gradually incorporate flour while kneading the dough until it is elastic and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Grease a loaf pan and pour the risen dough into it. Allow it to rise for another 30 minutes.
6. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Let it cool before slicing.
