A fresh and elegant dish featuring thinly sliced beef tenderloin, seasoned to perfection. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2-4 servings
Ingredients:
- A piece of good quality beef tenderloin
- Fine sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Olive oil
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Arugula
- Shaved Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. If using frozen meat, allow it to thaw until just firm. For fresh meat, place it in the freezer for about an hour to make slicing easier.
2. Slice the beef as thinly as possible, about the thickness of deli meat.
3. Arrange the slices slightly overlapping on a plate.
4. Season the beef with fine sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a drizzle of lemon juice.
5. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
6. Finish the dish with a handful of arugula and shaved Parmesan cheese.
