Ingredients:
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy mushroom sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
