A delicious and quick weeknight meal, combining flavorful chicken strips and colorful frozen vegetables. Perfect served with potatoes or pasta. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g marinated chicken strips
- 1 dl diluted chicken broth
- 300 g frozen mixed vegetables (peas, broccoli, cauliflower)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp semi-coarse wheat flour
Instructions:
1. Sauté the chicken strips in oil over high heat until they are golden brown.
2. Add the frozen vegetables to the skillet and stir well. Let simmer on low heat for about 5-10 minutes, until the vegetables are heated through.
3. In a bowl, mix the chicken broth and wheat flour until smooth. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the vegetables and chicken.
4. Allow it to simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens. Stir as needed.
5. Serve with potatoes or pasta.
