Delicious smoked brisket transformed into a flavorful BBQ sandwich. Perfect for using up leftovers! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 500 g leftover smoked brisket
- 1 dl BBQ sauce
- 1 dl red cabbage, shredded
- 1 dl coleslaw
- 4-6 buns (e.g., hamburger buns)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Slice the leftover brisket into thin pieces.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the brisket slices to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until warmed through.
4. Pour the BBQ sauce over the brisket and mix well.
5. Let it heat for another few minutes until the sauce is warm.
6. Fill the buns with the brisket mixture, topping with shredded red cabbage and coleslaw.
7. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
