Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 round loaf of bread or 2 large rolls - 150 g melting cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or similar)
- 2-3 green onions
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Aluminum foil
Instructions:
1. Cut the bread into 1-2 cm slices, ensuring the bottom stays intact. 2. Make crosswise cuts in the bread to create a grid pattern on top.
3. Slice the cheese into thin pieces and fill the gaps between the bread slices with cheese.
4. Finely chop the green onions and mix with the melted butter. Spoon this mixture between the cheese slices.
5. Wrap the bread or rolls in aluminum foil and heat in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 5-15 minutes, depending on the size of the bread.
6. Open the foil and bake the bread for an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
7. Allow the bread to cool slightly before pulling apart pieces to serve.
