recipe

A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional fries, perfect as a snack or side dish.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into approximately 1 cm thick sticks.
3. Place the sweet potato sticks in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to ensure the spices coat the sticks evenly.
4. Spread the seasoned sweet potato sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are not overlapping.
5. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the sweet potato fries are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the cooking time for even cooking.
6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, perhaps with spicy chicken wings or a dip. Enjoy!
