Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button or chanterelles)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and save a little cooking water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little cooking water.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
