A delicious mushroom sauté perfect as a side dish or a lighter main course. Quick to prepare and full of flavor! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- 100 ml cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
5. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the mushrooms are golden brown and the liquid has evaporated.
6. Stir in thyme, cream, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let simmer for a few more minutes.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
