Delicious and hearty pastries perfect for both everyday and festive occasions. Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Serving Size: 20 pastries
Ingredients:
- 5 dl skim milk - 25 g yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- 12 dl bread flour
- 50 g margarine
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk until it is lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.2. Add the salt and mix well.
3. Gradually incorporate the bread flour and knead the dough until it is elastic.
4. Add the soft margarine to the dough and knead until well combined.
5. Allow the dough to rise under a cloth for about 30 minutes.
6. Divide the dough into 20 equal pieces and roll them into balls.
7. Roll each ball into thin circles.
8. Fill the pastries with your choice of filling (e.g., rice, potatoes, or meat).
9. Fold the edges over the filling and press tightly to seal.
10. Bake at 225°C (437°F) for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown.
