Ingredients:
- 4 beef steaks (e.g., venison loin or beef tenderloin)
- 800 g oven-baked potato wedges
- 100 g herb butter (butter, garlic, herbs)
- 1 dl olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 150 g mixed green salad
- 1 ripe avocado (optional)
- 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Prepare the oven-baked potato wedges: Cut the potatoes into wedges, season with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Place them on a baking sheet and roast for about 30-40 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet and add a little oil if needed.
4. Sear the steaks for about 3-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.
5. Add the herb butter on top of the steaks in the skillet, allowing it to melt and mix with the meat juices.
6. Serve the steaks alongside the oven-baked potato wedges and the mixed green salad. Optionally, add sliced avocado and drizzle with lemon juice over the salad.
