Isänpäiväkakku - A Delightful Chocolate and Caramel Cake with Salted Peanuts

Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl cream
- 1 dl caramel sauce
- 100 g salted peanuts
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a water bath. Allow to cool slightly.2. Whip the sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the chocolate-butter mixture to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually add to the batter and mix until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
7. Whip the cream and fold in the caramel sauce.
8. Slice the cake in half and fill the bottom layer with the caramel cream.
9. Place the top layer on and decorate the cake with the remaining caramel cream and salted peanuts.
