Delicious Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (e.g., red or yellow)
- 300 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 dl rice (preferably long-grain)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 dl grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
2. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and oregano.
3. Cook the rice according to package instructions and mix it with the meat and onion mixture.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture.
6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
7. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve warm.
