Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g salted herring
- 1 dl red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 dl cucumber, julienned
- 1 dl dill, chopped
- 1 dl sour cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Rinse the salted herring in cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
2. Cut the herring into serving pieces and arrange them on a serving platter.
3. Top with the red onion slices and julienned cucumber.
4. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, dill, salt, and pepper.
5. Pour the sauce over the herring and garnish with extra dill.
6. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving.
