Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into approximately 1 cm thick strips.
2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
3. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan to 180 degrees Celsius.
4. Fry the potato strips in small batches for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
5. Remove the fried potatoes with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Serve immediately while hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
