Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (such as spaghetti or penne)
- 4 eggs
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the minced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden brown.
3. In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with the cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic and mix well.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and stir quickly to cook the eggs without scrambling them too much.
6. If the pasta feels dry, add a little reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
