Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., tagliatelle)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Mince the garlic and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the minced garlic. Sauté for a moment.
4. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If needed, add a little of the reserved cooking water for a creamier consistency.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
