A refreshing summer cake featuring a light sponge base, strawberry puree, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for summer celebrations. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 prepared sponge cake base- 2 dl strawberry puree
- 3 dl whipped cream
- 250 g fresh strawberries
- (optional) sugar to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the sponge cake base or use a store-bought one.2. Spread the strawberry puree evenly over the top of the cake.
3. Whip the cream until fluffy and spread it over the strawberry puree.
4. Slice the fresh strawberries and arrange them on top of the cake for decoration.
5. Allow the cake to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
