Ingredients:
- 200 g fresh leaf lettuce (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
- 100 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 50 g finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rinse and dry the leaf lettuce thoroughly. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.
2. Prepare the dressing by mixing olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat all the leaves.
4. If desired, add the chopped parsley and mix again.
5. Serve the salad with grated Parmesan cheese on top, if using.
