A hearty and flavorful chili made with ground meat and beans, perfect for a cozy meal. Preparation Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 6 cups dried white or brown beans
- 600 g ground beef
- 4 large onions, chopped
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 2 red bell peppers, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 liter meat or vegetable broth
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Soak the beans in water overnight, then cook them until tender.
2. Heat oil in a large pot and add the chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are soft.
3. Add the ground beef and brown it.
4. Stir in the diced peppers and minced garlic. Cook for a few minutes.
5. Add the cooked beans, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and broth. Mix well.
6. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until all flavors are blended.
7. Serve warm with rice or bread.
