These delicious vegetable patties are a perfect option for lunch or dinner. They are easy to make and full of flavor. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 patties
Ingredients:
- 1 can black beans (about 400 g), rinsed and drained- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Mash the black beans in a bowl using a fork or potato masher.2. Add the rolled oats, onion, garlic, and carrot to the mashed beans. Mix well.
3. Season the mixture with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
4. Shape the mixture into four patties.
5. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve warm with a salad or whole grain bread.
