A delightful, light, and delicious pavlova perfect for any celebration. Topped with fresh berries for a refreshing and colorful touch. Preparation Time: 1 hour + 1-2 hours chilling
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 egg whites - 250 g sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 200 g fresh berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Icing sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 120°C (248°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.2. In a bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
3. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to whip until the mixture is glossy and firm.
4. Gently fold in the cornstarch and white vinegar into the meringue.
5. Shape the meringue mixture into a round disk on the prepared parchment, about 20 cm in diameter.
6. Bake the meringue in the oven for 1-1.5 hours until it is dry and crisp on the outside. Allow it to cool in the oven with the door ajar.
7. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
8. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled meringue.
9. Top with fresh berries and dust with icing sugar.
10. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator to enjoy later.
