A comforting and hearty beef soup with vegetables, perfect for a family meal. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 700 g beef stew meat with bone
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 200 g rutabaga, diced
- 9 potatoes, quartered
- 3-4 tablespoons salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- Water
Instructions:
1. Place the beef stew meat in a pot and cover with water. Simmer over low heat for about 1 to 1.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
2. Add the chopped carrots, diced rutabaga, and quartered potatoes to the pot.
3. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow the soup to boil for another 30 minutes, until the vegetables are soft.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed.
5. Serve hot with bread.
