Description: A delicious and aromatic rolled bread filled with blue cheese, olives, and fresh herbs. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 5 dl water
- 50 g yeast
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12-13 dl all-purpose flour
- ½ dl oil
Filling:
- 200 g blue cheese (crumbled)
- 100 g olives (sliced)
- Fresh herbs (such as rosemary and thyme)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add sugar and salt.
2. Stir in the oil and mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour and knead the dough until it is elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the crumbled blue cheese, sliced olives, and chopped herbs on top.
6. Roll the dough tightly into a log and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Allow it to rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
