Delicious Veggie Burgers

These veggie burgers are tasty and nutritious, perfect for a vegetarian diet. Preparation time: 30 minutes | Serving size: 4-6 burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 can black beans (about 400 g) - 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh herbs (such as parsley or cilantro), chopped
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers for toppings
Instructions:
1. Rinse and drain the black beans. Mash the beans in a bowl using a fork or a potato masher. 2. Add the rolled oats, chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped herbs to the mashed beans. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into patties. You can make 4-6 patties depending on the size.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are beautifully golden brown.
5. Assemble the burgers in the buns and add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
