Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- Salad leaves, such as arugula or iceberg lettuce
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Shape the ground beef into four patties and season with salt and black pepper.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
3. Add cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to let them melt.
4. Meanwhile, toast the buns in the pan until they are lightly golden brown.
5. Assemble the burgers: place salad leaves on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the cheese-covered patty, tomato, avocado, and red onion slices.
6. Add your desired amount of ketchup and mayonnaise, and cover with the top half of the bun.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
