Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef (preferably high-quality)- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- Lettuce (such as iceberg or arugula)
- Ketchup
- Mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Shape the ground beef into four patties and season with salt and pepper.2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter.
3. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they reach your desired doneness. Add the cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute to melt.
4. Lightly toast the hamburger buns in the pan until golden brown.
5. Assemble the burgers: place a patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the bun, add tomato, avocado, and lettuce. Lastly, add ketchup and mayonnaise to your taste.
6. Cover the burgers with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
