Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth and uniform.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting.
