Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain, reserving a bit of pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce. If necessary, add a bit of reserved pasta water to achieve a creamy consistency.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
