Pasta Carbonara is a delicious and quick Italian dish that combines spaghetti, eggs, and bacon into a flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or guanciale
- 3 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, chop the bacon into small pieces and fry it in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Add the whole garlic cloves.
3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve about 1 cup of the cooking water and drain the pasta.
5. Remove the garlic from the pan and add the drained pasta to the bacon. Mix well.
6. Take the pan off the heat and pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Stir quickly so the eggs cook just enough from the heat of the pasta.
7. Add reserved cooking water as needed until you reach your desired consistency.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
