Leftover Ham and Smoked Salmon Pizza

A delicious way to use up holiday leftovers like ham and smoked salmon. Perfect for two pizzas! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2 pizzas
Ingredients:
- 2 dl water- 1 packet (11 g) dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 200 g ham, diced
- 150 g smoked salmon fillet, sliced
- 100 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 dl tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Warm the water until lukewarm. Add the dry yeast and mix. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it starts to bubble.2. Add the salt and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Gradually add the all-purpose flour while stirring until the dough is smooth.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it is elastic.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 225°C (437°F).
6. Roll out the risen dough into two thinner pizza bases.
7. Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza bases. Top with diced ham, sliced smoked salmon, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with oregano.
8. Bake the pizzas in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
