A delicious layered sandwich cake combining tuna, cream cheese, and cucumber mayonnaise, perfect for celebrations or family gatherings. Preparation time is about 30 minutes. Serves 12.

Ingredients

- 12 slices rye bread
- 1 can tuna
- 3 dl chicken broth
- 100 g flavored cream cheese (e.g., chive)
- 4-5 tablespoons cucumber mayonnaise
- 1 tube mustard
- 1 dl peas (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., dill or parsley)

Instructions

1. First, prepare the filling by mixing tuna, cream cheese, cucumber mayonnaise, and mustard in a bowl. You can also add peas if desired.
2. Quickly dip the rye slices in chicken broth to soften them without falling apart.
3. Place the first slice on a serving platter and spread a layer of the tuna filling on top.
4. Continue layering until all slices and fillings are used, finishing with the top slice.
5. Allow the sandwich cake to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
