Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 3 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
4. Add the melted chocolate-butter mixture to the egg-sugar mixture and stir until well combined.
5. In another bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate icing.
