Delicious and slow-cooked sailor steaks that take you on a journey through memories. This traditional dish is the perfect choice for weekend indulgence. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 800 g beef steak - 2 tbsp butter
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 carrots
- 4 potatoes
- 1.5 dl beef broth
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef steak into strips and brown them in butter in a deep skillet. 2. Add chopped onions and garlic, and sauté for a moment.
3. Peel and slice the carrots and potatoes, and add them to the pot.
4. Pour the beef broth and cream over the meat, then add mustard, salt, black pepper, and the bay leaf.
5. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours, until the meat is tender and the flavors meld together.
6. Serve the steaks warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
