A delicious oven dish that gets its flavor from high-quality ingredients and slowly cooks in the oven. A perfect treat for meat lovers! Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 600 g veal fillet or beef- 2-3 large potatoes
- 2 onions
- 3 dl veal stock
- 3 dl beer
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds. Finely chop the onions.2. Heat butter or oil in a pan and sear the meat on all sides over high heat until browned.
3. Add the onions to the pan and sauté until they gain some color.
4. Pour in the beer and veal stock. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow to simmer briefly.
5. In a baking dish, layer the browned meat, onions, and potato slices. Pour the sauce over the top.
6. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender. You can bake it longer if needed.
7. Serve with pumpkin pickles on the side.
